    ETR7 now in stock - head's up.

For any of you guys out there that have tried and like ETR7 powder, it is now back in stock at expansion industries.

    http://expansion-industries.com/relo...ol-powder.html

I bought some sometime back and love it. It is the absolute cleanest burning powder I have ever used. Load data is extremely close to TiteGroup. And TG data is everywhere!

It is hands and heads far better than dirty olde Unique!

    And at $18 a pound/four pounders? A good deal.

It is now my standard powder for anything (except hot magnum loads) from 9mm thru 45LC. Even lite load rifles.

They advised me by phone they are starting to have trouble getting this stuff shipped due to tightening "gubmint" regulations! Obummer and Hillbillary fears at it again?

Just a heads-up for those that like ETR7.

    Good shootin'.

    - 6.0gr ETR7 produces a 959fps round with a 215gr bullet that is a pleasure to shoot in a Ballard 44WCF(cast action) with single digits SD
    - 45Colt ...6.8gr and 250gr bullet in a Ruger 4 5/8" = 768fps, again single digits SD
    - 45 Colt ... 6.8gr and 250gr bullet in 24" barrel = 927 fps

Thanks for the heads up Bangerjim. Unfortunately I looked a few days ago and they were still out of stock so I ordered some Nobel sport from Grafs to try. Bad timing. I really like the ETR7.

I really like it in 9mm. 3.9 grains pushes my Lee 125gr 9mms 1000+FPS. Shoots nice and clean. Meters well out of my autodisc for loads over 3gr.

Agree. I use 3.9gn with a 138 NLG PC'd boolit in all my 9's and it is great (semi's and M1 carbine)! No smoke, not dirt, not leading, not cleaning. I am in hawg heven.

this is real interesting, as I've never heard of Expansion Industries. There seems to be quite a few distributors

I called the one closest to me, and they only sell ammo

Mail order. Shipping is fast and not that expensive if you order several 4 pounders at a time!

For the Good of the Order:
Link to all the CB threads about ETR7 because there is plenty of good information and hyper links to other forums with loading data & information...

Did anything ever come about with their attempt acquire and distribute the rifle powder?

What are these "tightening gu'bment regulations" you speak of? Is the sky falling?
