I'd be in if we can get a two cavity in brass. I've been having some success with the ELCO HP and am looking for something that may work on smaller pigs.

I recommended NOE's 358-155-TC RG4 cavity PB (ELCO) in post #15. This seems to have been largely ignored. Has anyone had a bad experience with this boolit? I have found Sweede's molds to be top notch. If someone has had a less than acceptable experience, I'd like to hear of it too before I order more molds.

I like his molds an looked at NOE's 358-155-TC but I got the wife a little 3" Kimber for her birthday this month, from the little I read about that mold is it drops hps at 151gr an I don't remember but I think the fp was around 160 gr an it might be to long for a short chambered gun like the Kimber . That's why I'm interested in a 147gr fp with hps to play with . I a nub at this so look into for yourself it may be great for your needs .

I need to see a drawing before I will commit to a mold. I could draw the bullet up in CAD if I had a couple sample bullets to take measurements from.

Zubrato said he is interested in being the Honcho but all of this depends on the design. I need/like a GC as I run my 9mms as hot as possible 30k psi +
I think the deep/penta pins/HP should be closer to 135 grains so the velocity can take advantage of the HP. And the FP can be 147 or whatever.
I think Zubrato may have a design we can work with, or at least some ideas. I think Miha has a 147 design that would work here.

If there is interest, I would be glad to honcho this mold pending design feature or variation approval, due to the difficulty of the task at hand; heavy for caliber 9mm, gas check, and deep seating depth.

For a 147 GC/PB design I'd like to begin using the proven MiHec 125gr HP as a springboard with modifications to: allow variation in seating depth without exposing lube groove, prevent case bulge issues with large variety of factory chambers on the market, prevent ogive jamming into rifling due to long COAL, HP pin options to include a 135gr deep HP, 147gr HP with round & penta pins to allow for proper expansion at different velocities, .359" as cast diameter with COWW. Possible heavy FP with blank pins for a heavy experimental 9mm, TBD

I will have a CAD/dimensional drawing ready in a few days, and pending design approval here will be contacting Miha soon for production info and pushing this buy into the active forum.

If others are interested in the proposed changes for the group buy, please let me know as it can only move things along faster.

I could live with that design. Why don't you draw one up.

I am in. Count me in. I like the notion of two HPs and a heavy FP.
    Thank you for doing this.

The bullet in the OP looks good to me. Basically a heavier gas checked version of the 125gr Lyman 356637. The MP 125gr bullet and the 356637 have different profiles, lot longer nose on the MP.

I think this is a great design. Plenty of options weight wise. I am in. Would be interested to see some comments, so we can get this rolling and active.

Won't work for me. Was hoping for a bullet like in the OP, a heavier devastator. That bullet is basically the MP 359-147 with a gas check. NOE already has the Elco that runs along the same weight and is made just for the 9mm.
