    Shot a deer.....

    .....With 375g of a high carbon alloy going about 286fps. Went 50y and dropped in sight.

    Please explain what " high carbon alloy" is related to lead boolits. I know what that is related to steel.

    Also, 375 grams... Pretty heavy projectile... Works out to be about 1050 ft-lbs.

    Or, he might just not know the proper abbreviations for grams (g) vs grains (gr) and he's talking about arrows instead.

    Greetings and Congratulations on the nice bow buck ! The carbon had me wondering till I remembered carbon fibers.
    That is my preference down in the bottoms where I hunt. Nuttun like a stick with a string and a sharp pointy shaft. Next year I will be back.
