    Adjusting size with PC

I was wondering if it makes any sense to adjust the diameter of the bullet using a couple of coats of PC and then running it through the proper size sizing die. In other words if my mold is dropping at .430 and I want my boolits @ .433 is there any reason I can't put a couple of coats of PC on them to bring them to the size I want?

    thanks

It works just a little bit. Beagling is a better solution.

Even multi-coating is unreliable. One coat will give you 0.002, but more can lead to chunky and uneven coatings. I would only try 2 or more coats with ESPC....which I have done. Waste of time. I just bought another mold for what I needed. After all, it's only money!

If you do not care about accuracy, go ahead and multi coat.

I would suggest either getting another mold or try #2 above. And stick with one good coat.
