Such a shame, he was a nice guy.
Thats the sad news we all hate to hear unfortunately but the good Lord is taking back one of his own. My condolences to his family and friends.

I was in the chat room here last night when I was told of his passing.....I was completely floored and felt physically sick the rest of the night. Of all the people here I wanted to visit with Nolan topped the list. I had plans several times to travel to Okie land but one thing or another always interrupted the trip. I had a great deal of fun with Nolan. He had a great sense of humor and was a veritable fountain of information on casting, farming, gardening, tractors and about any topic you can think of.
Those of you who didn't visit chat missed him in some of his finest moments . Being a moderator he often remained "invisible" there but would pop up at the least expected time. He earned the name Casper.....smiles. I talked with Nolan all the time and enjoyed every minute. He was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever come to know. I am really going to miss him but one thing I know for certain.....he is being held in God's warmth and maybe I'll be able to visit him someday.

I've had the chance to get to know Nolan just through chat but there were many times it was just him and I in the room and there wasn't a time I didn't feel as we were just sitting back enjoying a cup of coffee and good conversation. I learned a lot from him and he was always willing to lend an ear or help you with a problem. He will be missed. Rest easy Nolan you will be missed.

It had to do with hillery & obama so I new he was just trying to keep things PC! I got upset inside but now I see he was doing Super Mod Stuff! He did his job well!

Never had an opportunity to have met in person, regrettably, but in my relatively short time here I'm glad to have had the opportunity to talk in chat numerous times at least.
Prayers go out to his close friends and family, in particular. He'll be missed dearly by everyone.
I chatted with Nolan about a ranch in his area a couple wanted to trade us for. He advised me that the place was not suitable for cattle.
Thank you Nolan. You will be remembered by us.
