    22 Bator

I did a search and didn't turn up anything, has anyone played with PC and the 22 Bator?
What were your results, with or without GC?
My intention is to use it in 222 Remington between 2000-2800 fps, whatever the weakest link will allow, and to use it for varmint / predator hunting.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks for the input.

I have cast and shot many hundreds of them B4 getting a NOE RF mold. It looks more like a real boolit that that round nose stubby thing.

I tumble-n-dump them and place on NSAF pushed down in between 1/4" hardware cloth. They lay in the grooves and do not roll around that way.

I do both GC and non-GC, depending on velocity. No leading. Most are <1800 FPS. Good 'nuff for me.

What was your load to get 1800 fps?
    Powder, filler, etc
    Thanks Jim

I am out of the office now (can't give you weights) but if I remember right, I just follow the published load data of Ramshot X-Terminator, a ball powder specifically designed for 223. I love it! Slower loads are either TiteGroup or ETR7. Again no filler ever.

    Check it out on-line.

    No filler. Just powder.

That will get me started Jim, thanks. I prefer not to use filler if I don't have to.

AZ-JIM: Last time out with my 223 Handi 1 in 9 twist 24" PC'd and gas checked 55gr Lee Bator TiteGroup 5.5gr Av 1927 Sd 19 6gr 1999 Av Sd 10 6.5gr Av 2119 Sd10 7gr. Av 2261 Sd 17 With TiteGroup no messing with fillers, I shoot a LOT of rifle calibers with it and it works very well for me. I also use this charge range in my Savage Bull barrel 22-250 with good result. Gp
