A high school friend of mine bought every new model handgun that Ruger ever made. He loaned me his new 30 carbine Blackhawk and I only fired one round as it had the most obnoxious blast I had ever heard.

A high school friend of mine bought every new model handgun that Ruger ever made. He loaned me his new 30 carbine Blackhawk and I only fired one round as it had the most obnoxious blast I had ever heard.
I found out the reason my rifle was getting absolutely no recoil and a lot more flash.... The gas tube was UPSIDE DOWN! not sure how I overlooked that.
I feel silly.
