Voting thread: September 2015 Photo contest

Lot's of excellent submissions this month.
there was a suggestion to open up voting to the membership, and here we go...

Vote ONCE, for what you think is the best photo that was submitted in the September 2015 Photo contest.

Please be clear in which submission you're voting for in the first line, and feel free to add comments after that in another paragraph ...Last time, there was a couple votes I needed to decrypt...I won't be doing that this time, I'll just DQ your vote, if it's not easily read.

I will leave this vote open til the 7th.

I vote for Johan's SBH in post #16

I'll start this off, I love the focus on the object and the "out of focus" in the background, the lack of lighting glare...and mostly the smoke stains on the cylinder and frame.

Well heck I vote for Tar Heel's "Almost Noon" photo. Composition is well done and theme is present. There are some outstanding pics this month and I want to thank ALL the photographers for allowing us to share their work. Well done to all.

I vote for post #13 the .30 carbine Blackhawk

It wouldn't be right to vote for my own photo.

Some great entries this month. Hard choices, but I have to go with post #21

    davwingman
really came on strong with that beautiful photograph of the S&W 624 44 Special.

The backdrop was excellent as well.

    This one gets my vote.

Just some really beautiful photos! I liked the composition in several, my thanks to all who took the time, it's neat to see what some of you guys are shooting.

Johan's pic for me, it's just got that visual quality where nothing is lacking enough to draw your eye away from the powerful central presentation. The whole pistol is sharp and nothing behind it washes it out, and the colors behind it,,,,,,just a great picture!

    I vote for davwingman’s post #21

I have to wonder why you didn’t make this a poll, then you don’t have to go thru and read everyone’s reply and count all the votes and what they voted for.

I also wonder how many vote on the gun that is in the photo, or that and how well the photo is composed.

My vote goes to Johan's in post #16. Very good angle, good background that imo enhances the lines of the revolver and scope, beautiful focus.

If it were about the revolver itself and not the photo quality, the .30 Carbine would take it.
