    Lee 358-82-WC

I stumbled across one of these single cavity molds a week or so ago. Anybody still use one?

It looks like it would make a neat little button nosed wad cutter for plinking or small game loads, while being miserly with the lead stash.

Somehow it seems like it would be better used out of .38 Special brass than .357 Magnum to me. Does this make sense to anybody else?

Why not just use a Round Ball mold?

I had one that NOE made in 75 gr. I think i could put 3 boolits in. I also loaded some shot in the case and capped it with 1 boolit.

    1. I don't have a .360 RB mold.
    2. In theory, a WC should be more accurate.
    3. It definitely carries more lube than a RB.
    4. It was cheap.

I thought about that also; as long as it casts close to design weight, two should be doable in the .38.
