Hi everyone,

Recently I've been having discussions with a lot of us in "Club Hollywood" about the best way to share information. Cast Boolits is an excellent forum but our one drawback has been that as threads are archived we're losing pictures people have posted from time to time. While a lot of the content is still in the discussions it would be nice to have a repository where we can have easy access to all things Hollywood. (Pictures, manuals, etc.)

HGS has one of the largest collections of Hollywood equipment that we know of. (Steve has identified 21 variations of Hollywood press covering all the periods that they've been made in.) With an archive of over 500 pictures of Hollywood equipment that has appeared on the internet over the last ten years he also has a tremendous visual reference library. Steve wants to share all of this with the rest of us.

One of the easiest, and least expensive for the purposes of hosting, is to create a group on Facebook. This will allow us to create folders, share documents and pictures of our collections, etc. An obvious drawback is that to participate you have to join Facebook but in bouncing the idea around with people it seems a small hurdle for the added benefit.

With that said here's the link to the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HollywoodReloading/

It's currently a closed group which means you have to ask to join. (Ideally this should help us cut down on spamming.) As we get more people involved we'll make a few more folks admins.

To be clear this isn't to take away from Cast Boolits! We're simply trying to create something that allows us to gather all of our information in one place with a bit more permanence.

Thanks to LUBEDUDE, HGS, PRESSMAN and everyone else I've spoken to over the last week or two.
