41 Swiss out of 8mm Lebel

I've tried using 348 brass, but for me the rim on the Graf 8mm Lebel brass works better.
    1) I cut the neck off about 1/8" before the start of the shoulder.
    2) Run the brass through the sizer die. I use the Lee dies.
    3) Fire form with Red Dot and cream or wheat.
You can anneal or not. I don't. Sometimes they do split either way.
    4) Trim to length.
I make mines as long as will fit. Better grip on the boolet.

I do the same and always anneal the new shoulder when forming then trim to about 1.6" and load with 20 grains of SR4759 with an Accurate 436330C 330 grain Vetterli boolit sized to .436. I had to open up the Lee seating die to accomodate the .436 boolit since the Lee dies are made to use a smaller diameter boolit. I have had great luck with the Graf 8mm Lebel brass also.

I do the same thing, except I cut them to the length I want to start with and never use a die on them. Works really well, never had one split yet. Same thing on the length, figure out what size boolit you want to use and trim the case to the right length to hold that size. That way no dies are ever used and cases last forever.

I cut to approximate length, anneal, the form in Lee's sizing die. I fireform with my standard load, haven't lost a case yet, with over 100 made.
