    Dixie Gun Work Kits

    Hi:

Is anyone familiar with the quality of Dixie Gun Work Kits?

I have not bought anything from then for quite a while.

    Thanks,

    Terryt

I put one of their Colt Army revolver kits together a few years ago...........much more refined than they used to be. IMHO

if you mean DGW trad muzzy kits, they're made by investarms, same manufacturer that makes the lyman GPR gun offerings. i've built three DGW flinter kits and they're quite good for the price, and for what they are. these are "screwdriver" kits that go together the same as the lyman kits (as expected), for the most part they're easy-peasy builds.

Generally they're good to go but that depends on the "OE" factor. (Operator Error) Let's face it, some folks shouldn't be allowed near tools.

i've put together 2 Traditions, 3 DGW, and 5 GPR kits. as long as ya know which end of a screwdriver to use, it'll get built and it'll function.
