Maybe someone was making bullets for a Old 22 Savage High Powder. Normal jacket .227
Could be. I thought I heard once the 230 was in response to hunting laws that prohibited 22cal for big game. Not sure. I was hoping somebody here had some info. The swage dies are in pill bottles marked 230 P with samples and CS. The samples measure .230.
234-270 Win. I have reloading dies but have no info on the cartridge.
