Hello from Detroit: New to the community

Greetings from Detroit! I just wanted to say hi to the community. I've been following some of the threads on here over on AR15.com, and recently got into casting and soon swaging- saving up beads and wampum to buy my first BTSniper swaging dies, they look well worth it.

Welcome! These folks here will teach you how to spend thousands to save hundreds. It's an addiction, and the feeling of being more self sufficient makes it all seem like it makes sense.
When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

Be aware this forum is run MUCH differently than AR-15! Welcome aboard!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Haha, I have no doubt- the most expensive, yet addictive hobby I've ever encountered, but I'm in for life!
