    Question lyman 311 414

I have an old 311 414 single cavity mould anyone use one of these before? I believe it is around 150 grains or so. Is this one good for anything? Any pet loads with same? Thanks: 8mmshooter

I've read a couple places that the 311414 was designed for the .300 Savage. I got a DC mould recently to try in my Model 99. I just loaded some yesterday with Reloader 7 but I haven't had a chance to try them yet.

I have used it in a lot of 30 cals. I have one single cavity that drops .314 bullets. It shoots as good as the 311413 for me. I also have one in HP that even shoots better. Mark
