I have a couple of old sticks of wonderful lube.
Silver paper, top says, "BEST LUBE"
Next line is: All Climate Instant Bullet Lubrication
Middle says: Positively Stops Leading and Clean Burning
Bottom is very cut off, mice nibbled the bottom of the wrapper.....
Forrest Sp....... (unreadable)
SHANDA....... (unreadable) Appears to be: Shandaken, New York
Does anyone have any info on this lube, who made it, and what the rest of the label says?????
The lube seems to be a mix of Alox/bees wax/and some special ingredients. Rather soft, even after all these years.
My guess is that it was made maybe in the 60's, 70's and 80's........
Pretty Please?
Oooooooo UPDATE:
I did some Googling............
http://www.castbulletassoc.org/forum...66&forum_id=16
Roy seems to have the spelling of the guy's name wrong: The correct spelling off the tube is: FORREST
Roy suggests it was made until the 60's.
Will have to check with him for update. I really wanna try to get a clean and clear label......
If we can duplicate this formula somehow, it'll need a proper right paper label, looking like the original.
