    Oehler 35P Printer Repair

My chronographs printer went wonky so I replaced it. I figured others might need to do the same and since knowledge hoarded is knowledge lost, I made a repair guide.

    Great writeup!

Printed, saved & archived for later reference (hopefully never).

    Thank you!

A huge thanks to you, also! I printed/saved in hopes I shan't ever need it.

    Thank you BlackPowder .50-90!

Recently, I have come very close to performing a coup de grāce on my Oehler 35P since it frequently is more of a pain than a productive tool since the printer mechanism's failure. I called Oehler and they want $50 + S&H for a new printer mechanism, paper and ink. I'm so happy that the internet has not let me down regarding a source for the printer mechanism, and to find the info on CastBoolits no less has made my day.

Late follow-up: I got a "new old stock" Casio HR-8TM printing calculator for $10 online and the mechanism swap was as described. A little solder and voila. Prints faster than before and no longer has feeding failures (for now).
