Non functional gun, breech has been demilled. Oh well, like seeing a good looking woman, then seeing tattoos. Ruined....

Depending upon the Demill might be a candidate for conversion to blackpowder muzzle loading cannon

From what I was reading elsewhere, you may be able to source a new breech for it if you know where to look. Not sure if that's true, because I don't know where to look, but if you have the money (and space) for a tank destroyer, well...

Well if breach is available and they haven't hurt the integrity of the barrel then a SOT would just file a form 2 to rewat it as a Destructive Device and $200 form 4 to take it back into possession of individual, LLC or Trust.

Problem is most of the Dewat's were torch cut into the barrel's and new M-18 barrel's are probably not easily found. - if you can get a plug into a damaged barrel so that the end is clear you could probably find a way to get an igniter and use it for black powder cannon.

I would imagine it's not easy as it's been out of inventory since we switched to 90mm post WW2. Well, actually late WW2 when M26 Pershing tank was fielded - all 20 units.
