Does anyone have any cast bullet samples of the RCBS 45-300-FN-GC (#82051), or RCBS 45-325-FN (#82045) that they could send to Al Nelson? If so, please send them to Al so he can do a drawing for the Group Buy.

It seems that we didn't have anyone out there who could provide Al with a sample of the RCBS cast bullets. Al, however, posted a drawing and specs for a cast bullet design based on a shortened version of Ranch Dog's NOE 460 350gr standard lube groove cast bullet. I think it looks really good.

Hey Everybody!!!

This Group Buy has gone live! Al Nelson has started an Active Group Buy for a .45-70 mould based on a shortened version of the Ranch Dog 460 350gr FP. It looks like it would be a great one for places like Ohio that allow "pistol cailiber rifle" deer hunting now, so you don't have to worry about over penetration and taking out two at once if there happens to be two critters side by side.
