28. Started shooting when I was 8. Dad never reloaded or cast bullets. I got into that on my own; first casting round balls for muzzleloaders at age 14, reloading metallic cartridges at age 19. I started casting for cartridges at (I think) age 21. In fact dad STILL doesn't get into it despite my attempts to get him interested in it- but will still go shooting with me, from time to time.

38 and been into firearms since my early teens. which was somewhat of a annoyance to my non shooting / hunting parents, but made my hunting grandparents smile. I have been a relaoder since my early 20's and starting dabbling with bullet casting by 25 , I have been much more serious about casting in the last 6 or 7 years.
Wow, only 3 people (who posted directly) in there 20's! Well I am about to make it 4!
27, been a hunter since I was 11, started collecting and shooting just a couple years ago, and just started casting this spring.
Must have been something good in the 79-81 class!!
Old, I can recomember when I bought a four cavity Hensley & Gibbs SWGC mould from the factory in San diego. eighteen dollars, with handles. "The Factory was a woodshed in the backyard, had overhead belt driven machines. 1956. Cigarettes were a buck a carton and a coke was a nickel.
Still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up.
Will be SEVENTY my next birthday. I think somebody must have lied about my age.
Always glad to help the young'ns down the trail.

Been casting for Black powder for some years and just started for rifles and handgun.
I've got T shirts older than some of you guys!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

55 this year 2 girls, 24 and 26, who shoot when we can all make time. Widowed these days.
Got all the nephews and a niece into it a long time ago. Family get togethers are usually loud and fun!
I will soon be 66, started shoting at age12, have 2 sons and 1 stepson who all like to shoot, daughter & step-daughter not much interested. My youngest son is more of a gun-nut than I am. Started reloading about 20 years ago and started messing about with casting when I got into black powder shooting about 15 years ago. This forum has greatly increased my interest in casting, .

51 but I don't feel it when I am talking about guns. Two sons whose interest in shooting keep my gun safes empty and me permanently at the loading and casting bench.
My biggest worry is I will die before my ordered Shilo is delivered two years hence.
