    A very sad day.
I first met Bruce at the Nevada Cast Bullet Shoot in 2010.
Not being a real social type creature, I was a little uncomfortable being around so many that I had not met before.
Bruce made me feel right at home.
He was a true gentleman and I am proud to have known him.
    He will be sorely missed.
    Matt

With regards to gun control in this country, everyone should be asking themselves one question:
What is it that this government feels they need to do, but can't do, unless the citizens of this nation are first disarmed?
(I seriously doubt you can come up with any plausible answers that you will like...)

I am hopeful that he and his family knew how much respect we had for him.

Two things I'll always remember about BruceB; he and I seemed to enjoy many of the same cartridges and firearms. I guess it helps that we both like most all of them, lol. The other thing was that he took the time to straighten me out on a couple of points. Can't recall the specifics but on one occasion it took me awhile to come around to his way of thinking but I finally did, of course.

Sad news indeed. I shall always think of the Winnemucca shoot as the BruceB shoot. I've never had the opportunity to attend, but I know he was always a driving force.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

We chatted about canoes and he sent me a few pieces of .50 cal brass for a project a few years ago. I am sad.
