    Where does it say that? I'd like to make sure, because Sun Prairie People's Republic is about 45 min due north on I90. Sure beats the bejeebers out of HAZMAT and shipping. But there is WI and probably local tax (5.5% total), but HAZMAT and shipping would probably top $40 (HAZMAT $26, shipping $15?)... Plus instant gratification...

    Some items available through cabelas.com are never eligible for In-Store Pick-Up. This includes items shipping directly from the manufacturer, hazardous items which require special handling, and Gift Cards"

    Though this is not totally unthinkable... imagine you have a store, and customers order a hazardous material, and it comes to a retail location, which has to have the correct facilities to store it. Then the customer has to show up to pick it up... Now me, I'm waiting impatiently at the phone or computer, looking for confirmation, thumbs up, and I'm doing a crash out drill to get my powder NOW!

    You did. You still have to pay HazMat unless the powder is already physically in the store. And even then it's sketchy because all the "ship to store" orders are shipped from the warehouse. They don't box them up in the store.
