    1908 Oviedo

This is gem has a problem in that the chamber has a pronounced radius from mid neck to case mouth . Having given much thought to what to do with an otherwise untouched GI rifle sans stock ,it lives in a Boyds prairie hunter, I have a couple of options . 1 build something else with the action. 2 find someone who needs it more ,the accountant may not go along with this. 3 I own a 280 Rem finish reamer I could make it a 7x60 and cut down a Lee 280 Rem sizer which would remove most likely situations of a factory +p+ getting into it and restore a square neck. It'll only see cast most likely from me and the next generation will know as there is an instruction manual for everything for each of them.

I have considered that but cost wise it will be almost as much as a rebbl and I have a couple of take offs . Maybe it is best to just retire it. Funny how she doesn't want me to sell it but might go for a rebore and 7.62x57...... to much time to think.
