    Winchester 94 AE 3030

Just got one, it does not have the ugly cross bolt safety. My load in my other 3030 model 94 post 64 is 22 grains IMR 4198 and a gas checked Lee c170 f boolit . This these will shoot well in the AE?

Only one way to find out-try them and see. Each rifle is an individual and has its own favorite load.

My 1978 Win 94 angle eject 30-30 rifle with scope shoots a 170 gr Lyman 311291 gas check with 25 gr 4895 and loaded so long, 2.4", that I feed it single shot and the bullet seats in the chamber like a schutzen.

That is probably my most accurate 100 yard CB experience.

I'm betting that will be an excellent place to start. Are you looking to take your rifle to the range or the field? Or both? I like PB boolits for plinking but a GC boolit will do anything a j-word bullet will do in the 30-30., IMHO
