300 blackout 247gn NOE HP subsonic ... need a good load to cycle action

    I need some help
want to create a load for a Noe 247gn hp Bullet. haven't started casting but want to know if you have a good load for it.
My rifle is a DPMS barrel 16" with carbine port.
Any subsonic loads out there that cycle the action without a can?
    Have AA1680, h110, lilGun, RL7 and 2400 on hand.

also have a 308 win and a 30-06 set up for cast and if you have a subsonic load let me know.

Can you please give me COAL, powder and gn and also group size and maybe speed.
    Any help is appreciated.

In 300 BLK, I have a rough equivalent of AA 1680, in the form of WC680. You may have to tweak the load a little to match actual AA 1680, but you should be close. Here's my load (use at your own risk of course):

    Powder: WC 680
Bullet: NOE 247 with Hi-Tek Gold Coating (2 layers), Sized to 0.310"
COAL: 2.230" (up to crimp ring)
Brass: LC / WCC Military Brass
    Primer: CCI 41
    Barrel: 10.5" Rainier
    Load: 10.0 gr
    Velocity: 1023 fps

I haven't shot this round in a 16" barrel, so you may need to adjust up OR down. What I found in my testing of jacketed loads was that I had to INCREASE the load approximately 0.4 grains from the shorter to longer barrel to maintain velocity. This runs contrary to common sense, but is based on statistically significant chronograph data. Your experience may differ, so testing is still required.

In 308, I use Trailboss loads, and that's the only powder I recommend. If interested, I will post that information as well.

Around 14.5gr of RL-7 should get you around 1,450fps and cycle, it does in both our 16" carbine gas uppers.
