Does anyone know when these molds will be made and what might be the
price for a 4 cavity gas checked? Thanks for any info.

A four cavity aluminum GC will be $92 minus the 15% discount. Then plan on about $7 shipping and the cost of any accessories, like a top punch or allen wrenches. I think my last order like this with a top punch was $92 total.

If you go to the link in post#1, you'll see that "Swede" posted that he's going to fit this run in when he can, very soon.

I got my new NOE 270-163-FN mold. Can't wait to pour some lead
to it...Have heated and cooled 3 times and will mold tomorrow.
    Beautiful looking mold.

Hey leadhead, I did the same last week and cast up some test boolits. When I made up some dummy rounds to check the fit, I found that my boolits were being swaged down some how. I sized to .269" and when I removed the boolits from the dummy case mouths, they were .266". Now, I have to figure this out! The case neck was expanded to .266". I used a C&H .270 Win seater die that I further ground out in the neck area.

Let us know how they work for you, guess I'll catch up later.

I made a special expander die (like a lyman M die) sized at .267.
I'm sizing at .268 and there a snug fit in the case. I'm loading for the
Swede right now, but will be trying them out in the Jap, Carcano, etc.
The bullets fall from the mold and are dead nuts at .270 dia. and 163 gr.
I think this one is going to be a winner. I've shot two groups with two different
powder charges and did alright at 50 yds. Had no trouble hitting a 10 inch plate
at 200 yds. I like it......

    Sounds like a great start!

I'm still contemplating what's causing my problem. Running an expanded empty case up into the seating die, the exit size is the same as the entry size. I didn't HT my boolits and didn't wait for age hardening to take effect so, will next HT to see if a hardened boolit is swaged down in the case neck. I suspect that I need an "M" type expander .268"x.270" but, no one makes one.

NOE makes them in all different sizes to fit the lee neck expander die.
Check there web site to find them.
