That's OK, have two new NOE moulds on my bench at the moment. Haven't cast with or even heat-cycled either one of them, one hasn't even been scrubbed yet. I appreciate Al's commitment to quality and I'm willing to wait until he's happy with the cherry.

What do you think about this bullet for a .357 Mag rifle?

I'm thinking 215 grains is too long / heavy. You'd likely have to use a .38 special case to get the OAL down where it would chamber and it would still likely be stuffed down in the case pretty far.
I wouldn't open that can of worms myself.

I was looking for around 1000fps, this bullet will stabilize in my 1:16" barrel at that velocity. I can seat out to at least 1.7" and still chamber.

Twisted your arm? That's pretty funny, lol. From what I remember Kickstand will make an excellent test rifle for this boolit.

The problem is that both of you are Enablers. Enablers I tell you lol.

The problem is that the Savage .358 Winchester will just not shoot lol. Load work up with BRP 360-225 GC, each group 5 rounds at 50 yards. Will do about the same at 100 yards but since I did not take pictures it is bunk lol.

Sorry forgot to add the Boolit was the BRP-360-225 GC.

But if you notice the huge center groups powder charge they are going pretty slow and above that the group would expand. I was just thinking that maybe I can push the 35 XCB a bit faster and maintain hunting accuracy from the ugly rifle.

What's an "Enabler", Buddy? Should we be offended?

Was hoping you'd post a pic of "Kickstand", JesterGrin_1. Cool rifle.

Lol i had to go look it up in Websters and i'm still not sure!
One thing is for sure...Jester's gonna have to wear matching camo with that rifle or the deer might pick him out!!! Although as good as it shoots, they won't be able to run fast enough.

I have said it before and I will say it again. You people kill me lol.

As far as camo down in South TEXAS. Good luck finding anything in 4 or 5 X or it looks like this XXXX or XXXXX lol. But Camo like this for hunting up north would probably be perfect although I would still probably be shot by some dumb so called hunter saying to the Ranger that he was sure it was a Deer lol.

A modern 35 caliber bullet design with a .313 ballistic coefficient?
I can say unreservedly that I have been waiting on a bullet mold like this the better part of my adult life. If it shoots half as good as I think it will, it's going to be a real winner.

I just have to ask that after all of your boolit design work was the boat tale type of design considered?
