    HOLLYWOOD Senior Turret Restoration

Here is an example of an incredible restoration done by a friend. The press and accessories were total rust when he started. Everything was stripped to bare metal. The wrinkle paint was re-applied and some parts were re-blued.

Anyone would be Proud to have that on there bench. But being as to how nice it is the press would probably be placed on a mantle.

That is a thing of beauty, nice restoration job! Is he planning to load on it?

I love old machinery, designed like a tank and made with pride to last many generations. Unfortunately they just don't make things like that anymore and we now have a throw away generation. My daughter and son in law drive me nuts, they don't take care of things they have, when it's broke they just toss it out and buy a new one as if their income will always be there. And they always have to have the latest and greatest, maybe I'm just too old in my ways, and a little jealous.
