    H&G #503 .44 SWC Clone by NOE

Take a look at what should be a great clone of the H&G #503. This is a Group Buy being run by Al at NOE as his NOE 432-265-SWC. It is available as a PB solid or hollow-point version. I have opted for the 5-cavity solid.

Some believe this is The One True Keith .44. I'm looking forward to getting mine!

It's the one true 44 Magnum Keith. The others were designed for 44 Special before the Magnum. Although Elmer really pushed Special.

It's the 429421 with a full front drive band and all the bands increased to .1". In some guns like my Anaconda and Redhawk the front band is just in the chamber throat. I think that was Elmer's intent from his complaint about Lyman reducing the front band and his insistence on sizing .429". In my S&W 629-6 the chambers are longer so there wouldn't be a problem if the front band was larger than the throat.

I just thought I should point out there could be chambering issues in a very few guns if the bullet is sized larger than the chamber throat. I think most of us here are splitting hairs and wacking off part of a boolit so it will fit every gun is not what we are here for.

I have cast over 40,000 of them. Still my favorite.
