To clarify, is it the 91/30 that has the irregular bore?

I may be able to help you with brass and boolit samples. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Have been working with my M38 Carbine now, for past couple of years. Recently hit on the two most accurate loads so far in a dark but not pitted bore. 17 gr 2400 under either 185 Lee, or 314299, w/2500 White Label lube, and Ben's LL. At 50 will stay in black all day long, and not far from it at 100, and bore is starting to shine a bit.
