    RAR 243 Win

Well, I FINALLY got out to the range to shoot it.

100gr factory Win Silver box, grouped 3 into an inch or less at 100yds.

Some miscellaneous hand loads did as well or better.

Once again IMR4350 with 39.5gr and 100gr Hornady's was the clear winner.

shot some 55gr NBT's at lightning speed, around 3800 fps or so and they grouped well too!

I have an all weather version in 243. So far the only load I've tested has been with the Speer 100 gr. BT and Reloder 22 in Remington cases. After sighting it in, I was able to get a 5 shot group measuring 1.25 inches at 100 yards. I won the rifle in a gun club raffle and debated for about a month about keeping or selling it. I had been contemplating an all-weather RAR in 30-06 and still may get one but I'm keeping the 243. I wonder how they shoot with cast boolits?
