    E-16 Collets

    Boys,
I'm in need of a 1/4" E-16 collet.(NOT ER-16) For my Volstro right angle attachment on my Bridgeport. This is the same collet that's also used on Unimats. I've got extra NIB Schaublin(Swiss) E-16 collets in 1/8" & 3/8" size. If anyone's got an extra 1/4", I'd be willing to swap one of these. It doesn't have to be new, as long as it's in good shape. I've also got a NIB E-25 collet in 3/16" which I'd be willing to trade for the 1/4" E-16.

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but it's a "Gunsmith" tool, The Volstro allows me to cut extractor grooves in gun barrels, without setting the barrel up vertically on an angle plate. So I thought I'd try here.

    Morgan,

I think I may have what you are looking for. Could you give me the length and diameter of your collet. I can only find specs for ER series. I have 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 sizes. I think they are mande by Shaublin, excellent condtion except for a small dinger on the 3/16 that would stone out easily.

I also have a Shaublin E25 collet chuck and could use the 1/4" size.

    Greg, Here are the measurements.

    1.065" Long
    .6285 Large end
    .398(approx) small end

As I posted, the E-25 collet I have, is a 3/16", not a 1/4". If you can't use it, would you be willing to sell me the 1/4" E-16 collet, or maybe swap for something else?
I took a photo of the E-16 next to the E-25.

Yep, it looks like they are the right animal. I think we can work something out.
    You should have an email.
