    RWS 460 magnum

Its been here for a month or so but I haven't, working out of town. Got an assortment of pellets yesterday. Nice looking gun will shoot it tomorrow. If it does what I think it will I won't be buying any overpriced 22lr ammo. Starting to run low. Maybe some pics of stuff if my executive assistant feels like it.

Like Harry says, those Crosman pellets from wally-world work just fine, almost as well as RWS Super Domes, and they're a lot cheaper.

since I've gone to airguns for practice this last few years the price of 22lr has not bothered me. in fact the .22 long rifle is about obsolete unless you're trying to kill stuff past 50 yards.there are some big bore airguns to take you out there and power close to ir more than 22 lr but then you're talking big money and generally you're not going to shoot them around the house.

Just plinked a bit today. A large apple was no match for H&N baracuda hunter HP pellets. Full penetration big hole penetrated 3/4 in into wet sand behind. Defiantly plenty power for small varmints. HPs even expanded some. I bet the heavy solids really penetrate well.

Checked one with caliper. Expanded to .285, shot through apple into wet sand.
