    FYI, for the 44 automag, you will need to ream the inside of the brass so it will accept a 44 boolit.

    I can hear the excuse now: "Honey, I needed to buy the 44 Automag because I had all these split .308 cases I didn't want to waste......."

    Ummmmm ,you mean there's another reason to add a 358 Win than having 100 bad necks and shoulders from 06' and x57's ........

    I was just reading about an AR cartridge , a 45 something that is a 308 cut at 1.9 and amounts to a rimless 460 S&W.
