That bullet has no check shank to put a gas check on. You are stuck with what you've got and have to adjust velocities to hardness. Gianni

I worked with 311410 in solid and HP version with several M1 Carbines using numerous powders several years back. Reasonable accuracy equal to military ball could be had with 311410 when not driven over 1500 - 1600 fps. Over that velocity and groups went to "improved cylinder". On the other hand with several moulds of GC persuasion casting bullets of 105 - 124 gr produced much better accuracy (2-3 moa with a good carbine) at full sevice velocity of 1850 - 1950 fps. I no longer own nor use a 311410 mould, the reason speaks for itself.
