First Paper Patch and Also first cast boolit Kill.

This is my first kill using a cast bullet. It also happened to be paper patched.
I am really liking this 405 Winchester.

Nice! Is the .405 a standard chambering in the #1 now?

I got the bullets from Buffalo arms. 320 grain cast with 20-1. They came sized at .407 which is perfect for my rifle. I sized the final patched load to 413, and hand seated them on top of IMR 3031. I used the hornady books, and hodgdon web site for my load. There was just enough taper crimp to keep the bullet in place, and not spill all over. I have good contact with the paper on the rifling. With everything said I think it worked.

That's what I am talking about , stack those hogs like a cord of wood. Nice rifle and shot placement too.
AR15 goes bang, AK47 goes bang, Mosin goes boom...
