    ?? Lee 356-120-TC

Anyone have this mold? Can you tell me what the as cast diameter is? I am hoping it comes in about .357-.358.

Thank you for any info you can provide me.

If you're talking about the Lee 120 gr. truncated with one lube groove, then I have it! It is a great bullet. Mine drops at .359. I size it for .358 in my Hi Power. I tried it at .356 and it leaded. So I slugged my barrel and it was .357.........soooooo from now on I size them all at .358. Sized 500 last night for a buddy. I would say get the mold and enjoy!

Crapshoot. Lee moulds can cast anywhere from nominal diameter to .003 over with .001 over being the most common ime. Most 9mm need larger bullets than the nominal .356 and many need bullets larger than .357. If you happen to get one that casts that small, you can't expect good results without modifying the mould.

Were it up to me, they'd drop the whole .356 notion and go to .358. It's a lot easier to size down than to make a mould cast larger.

EMC 45 - thats the one I am talking about. They have 2 one is a tumble lube and the other one is meant for a sizer.

The last few molds I have dealt with with Lee they all have been over size except for the one Tumble lube - that one was right what they said it would be.

One one else out there that was this mold for more comparsions?

I am going to order one and see where it goes.

2 9mm - mine - S&W-3913 and my daughter in law just got a Ruger SR9 - I know that she is going to shoot a lot - especially with those 17 round mags!

    Thanks for the info folks~!

My 6 banger drops them at .358 with WW + 2-3% tin. I shoot as cast in a Spanich Destroyer that I set the barrel back so .38 Super cases are used. I also shoot them that way out of my CZ 75 and a M91 Mauser I rebarreled to .35 Remington. Shoots great in all three BTW.
