Magma Bullet Master! (New to me)

Just got this last Friday. Got everything running Saturday. Had to rewire the plug and buy a new compressor. Ran some lead today. What a treat it is to run this. Ran it around 60% rate....just over 2K of boolits an hour. 5 hours later we ar sitting on 10K of awesome 135gn 9mm! Very very happy.

thought I would share, here is a video

It looks like my Mark 6 machine. I made some wooden boxes to catch the bullets in so I can switch them out before they get too full. Once you start running that machine at capacity, you'll find that extra catch bins come in really handy.

I just made them the same dimensions as the original metal bins and put a handle on the square end and a small wooden "finger catch" under the tapered pour end. I just use the metal bins for catching sprues now.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion! I was going to call Magma about some addition molds... Was going to ask the the price of 4 more trays...if they are not much I will pick them up....they will help with Hi-Tek coating to. It is sure a nice piece of equipment. A good tool for sure.

Me thinks you'll have to use a thin lube to allow flow to the pump to keep up.

I am, but I am thankful for what I have. I have worked hard to get to this point. It's rewarding.

    Thanks, Matt

Congrats. I just got my bullet master and lube master in. I'm still setting everything up right now have to run a couple 240v drops and the air lines from my compressor. I'm looking forward to running it.

The spru's drop to the left tray and the boolits drop in the bottom tray. I do get some spru's in the bottom tray, but when I run the spru's so they melt together from each cavity, they usually drop in the spru tray.

    Thanks, Matt

Love mine and it is a MKIV. They are not for the non mechanicaly inclined. Usually little things when something happens but for the most part very simple efficient design. No matter how much you trust it. stay right there with it when running. I have a buddy who let his go for 10 minutes while talking to the post man. Somehow the shear pin broke right in the point of the cycle to keep pouring. Not a huge issue but he really had a mess on his hands and a couple hours cleaning up the lead from the floor of his shop. lol. i know someone who has molds he might be willing to let go. Pm if interested and i will try and get you two together.
