    Went deer hunting

Yesterday the wife and I went deer hunting. Saw many deer including three big bucks but, no shooting. Came home after dark and found this guy in the yard next to the driveway. Guess if you feed them enough roses and petunias they get over being afraid of you.Click image for larger version.

Lol, good pic! I came home from a fruitless turkey hunt one saturday years ago and was eating lunch when my wife called for me to come see the turkey in the frontyard.
One of the bigger gobblers i've ever seen was in my driveway strutting around like he owned the place.

Wow! Looks like you have your new stand location figured out.

Neighbor and I just finished a deer stand in the woods, and the joke with the wives is that we should have them duplicate the landscaping we have at our houses. Beats the hell out of any food plot for attracting deer. We've found they really love the plumb trees from Home Depot.

    It goes that way sometimes.
My son and I had hunted through our brief PA black bear season, came in at dark, frozen, sat down to supper - and a big ol' bruin ambled down the driveway.
