Which Lee Moulds? Hornadys work on all my 8 mm moulds including Lee's. I size .326" and all stay put

I have no issue with the GC on that boolit. Measure your gascheck check shank diameter on the cast boolits & get back to us
Something isn't right. You are using 8mm / .32 cal gas checks correct? I don't use gator on those but I do use hornady and after there go thru my sizing die they can't be pulled off

Try running your alloy a little hotter and be sure your mould is up to Temp., pour a LARGE sprue puddle and check for good base fill-out.

Run this through spellchecker then maybe some will respond, sounds like the mold is dropping too narrow at the base.

He is saying the height of the gas check isn't high enough. That they are too shallow to get a grip on the bullet side . If the bullet base isn't filled out enough it may be too rounded to work well with this.

    Sorry,

But there is no way that a push rod in an 8 mm Lee Sizer die can wear to .289".

Someone may have accidentially mixed a push rod from a die that was smaller than 8 mm.

    Wear- - - - No , not by wear.

A small drop of super glue on the base of the boolit or inside the check will hold them in place. Do it before you size and press on the check.
