    Those are all legit.
Just might be hard to beat in accuracy. but if you do, you'll have a winner slug combo.

If I can get close that would be great. I'm shooting for five inches at 100 yards. I really don't gun hunt that much as I'm a die hard, hardcore bowhunter, but chasing these pigs around the woods with an arrow gets old.

When I do gun hunt, I want these results (or close to it).

I just pulled the red plastic tip out of the 300 gr XTP's. I'll fill in the cavity with solder to see how much that will increase the weight

So I've filled the cavities with solder. The weight increased by roughly 10 gr. the lightest weighting 309.11 and the heaviest weighing at 311.56. I'll go back and match them up to almost exact. We have an ice storm here in I hit nothing else to do. Once I load a few, I'll shoot them in some water jugs to look at the expansion.

Been awhile since I've posted. Just loaded up three batches of the following using Fiocchi clear hulls and 350 XTP:

    6 rds with 30 grs of 800X
6 rds of 33 grs of Longshot
6 rds of 40 grs of Blue Dot

Gonna work up some lee slugs this evening. Hoping to hit the range this weekend.

Keman hulls are Rio's. Rio uses a slightly oversized primer which is causing your WIN209 primers to be a loose fit. You can "recondition" the primer pockets with a hammer and a socket extension or use Rio primers.

Ok, just loaded up 12 Keman hulls, Rio primers, and 34 gr of long shot pushing a 1 oz slug.
I loaded 12 to shoot 3 from my rifled barrel at 50 yards and three at 100 yards.

The other 6 is the same shoot sequence but through my smooth bore.

Next 12 will be Herco or Unqiue.

I had a ton of data and even a few loads that I was consistently getting 5 inch groups at 100 yards but I left my data book on the back of my truck and it rained. I'm starting all over.

Loaded a bunch of slugs from what I can remember. I also bought a hammerhead slug mold with the sabots to go with it that I'll test as well. Hoping to get out this weekend. I'm almost tagged out on deer and we're in the two week duck hunting split so I got plenty of time.

I've got some test loads loaded but I'm put those on the back burner to test my 770 gr slugs.

I need to get back to it. Was at the range today, but those were testing other slugs.

I just picked up 2lbs of HS-6 to try. I'll see how it compares to the Tightgroup success I had. Lee data shows it go 1500fps. Tightgroup was close to 1300fps

I started with 47g Blue dot and think i wrecked some brain cells from the recoil. I clearly missed the target. Let us know how the 40g works. I sm seriously pondering start ing anew at about 32 ish grains.
