Yes, I will admit it. Occasionally (not very often, of course) I will need to pull a gas checked boolit from the case, generally leaving the check behind. I endured no end of frustration trying to get the errant gas check out of the case. Finally I devised a simple tool using heavy gauge copper wire although I think any kind of stiff wire, even a paper clip, might work. It is simple; a piece of wire with a sharp bend in the end, long enough to hold on to, and skinny enough to go in the case mouth. Simply hold the case upside down, and insert the hook into the case. Pull down far enough to engage the GC, then twist a couple of times to make sure the hook has grabbed it. Pull, and the GC pops right out. Life is good.
