Shot this gal (fella) with a camera in the Sawtooth area in Idaho while Elk hunting. I've never encountered a Badger face-to-face in the wild before and this made my day!!! I am about 15 yards away from the den here and had to zoom in with the camera as ANY movement in her direction just about initiated an attack. As I slowly backed away you could see her relax. Sure got a kick out of seeing her.

I assume hunts from the past fall are worthy.

Sums up my past few seasons. At least I spent a good bit of time in the woods last year.

My daughters first turkey. It rained all weekend and temps were around 60 so it wasn't the best hunting weather. She hung in there and did fine. She was 14 at the time.

10 mm and Mr. Squirrel. I was at work and saw him in a tree. All I had was my CCW. I don't get much time to hunt anymore. The legs were salvaged.

This picture is dedicated to geargnasher and btroj......

It is the dead of winter in Texas..... You can tell by my heavy clothing!
    It's a while back as well. (92?)

The Winchester Model 94 Trapper .45 Long Colt did a fabulous job by the way!

    Lethal Lead

A New York State woodchuck taken with my Remington Model 700, 30-06 shooting a 46.6 gr. Lyman 224450 HP nestled in a 30 cal. sabot.....all 52.6 gr. traveling at 3750 fps. That lead hollow point does just a much destruction as the J words, but the picture was staged for the more delicate viewer.

I had big plans to get my first cast boolit kill this past season with my 1917 Enfield but all I got was this picture. Drat.

My 15yr old Kleiner Münster after a day of hare hunting..
Not much luck with the hunt itself, but while taking a break by the fire, I was looking in my backpack for the sausages..
Turned around and found out that she already had got them..
Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic..
