    Safe? How deep seating bullet?

I have 196 gr gc bullets that I have loaded for testing in a early 1900's '94 WS. The last few days I've been reading through the old threads on this forum. Came across cautions on seating bullets beyond the neck of a case. The 196 gr bullet sits with the top of the gas check even with the shoulder/body junction of the case. Is this a dangerous depth?

Tain't bout where the base of the boolit is, it's about shorter cartridges (given same charge & etc.) produce higher pressures (think Kaboom). Sometimes drastically higher pressures. Boolit bases protruding into the main case area of a bottleneck case can affect accuracy in terms of unsupported length affecting boolit alignment, the base area can bump up (though pressure on all sides would say not), and lube can pollute powder.
We need somebody/something to keep the government (cops and bureaucrats too) HONEST (by non government oversight).

Every "freedom" (latitude) given to government is a loophole in the rule of law. Every loophole in the rule of law is another hole in our freedom. When they even obey the law that is. Too often government seems to feel itself above the law.

We forgot to take out the trash in 2012, but 2016 was a charm! YESSS!
