There is a few working with the 9.3x62mm Mauser here , My experience so far is that it takes very well to cast boolits .Load data for J-words is on Hodgdon web site and the newest Hornady manual, I know Hornady , speer, and Nosler all make j-works in this caliber.
you can get factory PPU brass for it from Graph and sons.
For a mold I am using a Accurate 37-285C for load data for it the best I come up with is the H4895 60% reduction rule.
NOE does make a mold for this caliber. I have not tried it.
I am pushing this boolit with 40gr of H4895 or about 70% getting just over 1700fps on my chronograph. and grouping very close to 1 inch at 100yards.
I have formed brass from 30-06 just so I could find out how.
    1. size brass in .338-06 sizer die
    2. expanded neck with .375H&H Mag die to be able to have some shoulder to head space on
    3. size brass in 9.3x62mm Mauser sizing die
    4. put primer in brass and load with 40gr. of H4895
    5. Set cast booilt long enough that it is pushed in to the lands of the rifle.
    6. fire it
I did it just to find out how , but I have enough factory brass it is not worth the trouble,

NOE has a good mould for it and they also carry the 9.3 gas checks. I have a few extra new Lapua brass that I might could part with, cash or trade for something. Pm me if interested. I have not loaded for mine because I need to get a sizer die from Buckshot.
    "Is all this REALLY necessary?"
