I'm actually in this one, BUT I would be in for another group buy ASAP. If you go to the ESS website they have a list of barrels and options. I saw they have 7.62x39 AR barrels, can be had with different finish options. I'd also pick up a couple more 5.56 barrels. I know the pricing we got was a limited special though.

Phosphate(parkerizing) is a protective coating. Melonite(ferritic nitro-carbonizing) is a treatment that actually changes the surface of the metal. Both work, benefits of melonite are present even after black color wears off. Glock, S&w, springfield, etc....use some form of melonite, salt bath nitride to protect their slides.

I believe I have contacted everyone who had a barrel ordered. Some barrels did not arrive at all to match your orders.

It appears they were overwhelmed with the response. I tried to provide alternatives for most of the no shows with barrels I ordered but buyers didn't respond on.

If I missed you in the PMs contact me.

To those that followed thru, Thank you for your understanding and help.

There will not be another group buy thru me. Too much hassle getting ESS to deliver what was ordered

and I'm stuck with 5-6 barrels as a result of that and some folks that didn't follow thru. To make matters even worse I never got the durn barrels I wanted !
