    She did it again.

Friday was a huge day at work for me. My counterpart in town is on vacation so I am 2 people for two weeks. I got home fairly jaded thinking I'd mow the lawns and chill but then Kiera asked if we could go hunting this evening. Well, you can't turn that down so I packed up the kit and away we went. Score the evening, 1 hare for Kiera, two rabbits for me.

Waay cool! I wish my kids weren't in their fifties.
We need somebody/something to keep the government (cops and bureaucrats too) HONEST (by non government oversight).

Every "freedom" (latitude) given to government is a loophole in the rule of law. Every loophole in the rule of law is another hole in our freedom. When they even obey the law that is. Too often government seems to feel itself above the law.

We forgot to take out the trash in 2012, but 2016 was a charm! YESSS!

Jeff I brought up my daughter the same way. She even enlisted in the Army and later transferred to the Air National Guard, now has 14 years in. She also loves to hunt. She once brought a young man to the house for a visit, and he told me, "I am not her boyfriend, we are just good friends, I am not tough enough to be her boyfriend!"

Thanks for a great picture of a fine little lady!

Thanks for the smile to start the day Jeff. I'd say you're a lucky Dad, but I know it's the result of continuing good hard work on your part. Keep it up!

As a much younger person than me told me once "That is totally cool". That sure applies to you and your hunt. Good picture and thanks for sharing such a great memory.

Share another well done with your daughter. A young lady who can hunt will never go hungry.
Our Wabbits over here are more like a cotton tail with longer ears... no near as big as those hares. You really end up with a mouth full with those. Well worth the expense of one shot.

Nicely done, both of you! Still can't get over how big hares get down there.

Wish my daughter had asked me those kind of questions. Congrats to both of you-her for the good shooting and you for remembering that even though you're swamped at work, your main job is DAD!
