    Taurus

    Does anyone know of any gunsmith specializing in tightening up a Taurus. I have a 415 2.5" .41 mag that I love but it is a little looser than I would like.

    I don't know what you mean specifically by tighten up, but send an e-mail description of what you think you need or know you want to Cylinder & Slide. They reponded to my request for a "dead chamber" (cartridge no-fire) problem I had with a Colt .22 Peacemaker SA. The firing pin indent was too shallow on all the .22 rims and the "dead chamber" was counterbored just enough more (deeper) than the others. Rather than have them do a mini-weld and re-counterbore that particular chamber, I am opting for a longer fabricated firing pin. You will not be contractually commited to anyone you contact by e-mail and they may give you an idea as to what is required, a "workscope" so to speak.
