    I had a bad week. Thursday my father past away and to keep my mind sane I smelted all the lead I had in order to stay busy. Ended up with 1150 pounds 795 lbs of soft lead and 355 lbs of wheel weight lead

    i too sorry about your great loss , lost my dad in a divorce when i was 3 ... 11 years later i met back up with him , didnt need me in his life , even though i wasnt close it was sad when he passed , ... i can only guess the hurt you must feel ... as a religious man i believe in the resurrection so hopefully some day you may see him again ... , ///// that being said .... thats a lot of lead good job my prayers and best wishes to you and yours

    Tough losing a parent, sorry to hear you are going through that. Keeping busy sometimes does help.
    Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

    Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

    I'm also sorry for your loss. Keeping busy is often a good way to deal with grief. It sounds like you channeled your grief into something productive. Nice stack of ingots!
