From the looks of it I would assume that Sta-Moly is a distributor for J4 jackets offering a 10% discount.
I'll go in half with you on a bucket.

I don't believe Sta-Moly is a distributor for J4. Sta-Moly jackets are held to a closer tolerance and the alloy is closely held. Please realize, before Sta-Moly started selling jackets, primarily for the benchrest crowd, J4 jackets were about double on the price shown here, if you could find them. They were the only source to be had except for Sierra, and Sierra was not dependable for selling jackets. Once the Sta-Moly jackets hit the market, and people are WINNING matches with them, J4 sales went in the toilet. And just as Sierra, J4 jackets were not very available to the independent bullet makers. So the free market wins, J4 saw the light and cut their price and started supplying jackets again, Sta-Moly is selling jackets as fast as they can make them, and the bullet makers win!
Sounds good Brian. Were there any other Jackets you were interested in on that list? If not I will get them ordered and when they come in ship you your half. Thanks!!

Tony, Just curious where you get your 40 cal jackets? I didn't see any on either list?
I got them from Richard Corbin. http://rceco.com/MN.asp?pg=products&grp=71&pgnum=2

No problem! Looks like he is going to get some shorter 40 cal jackets in!!! I have been wanting to make some lighter 40 cals for the 10mm.

This is an old thread (I know) but since it is about the information I am interested in I thought it would be appropriate to put it here. Does anyone know of a source of 45 cal jackets other than D Corbin? Maybe I'm just a little scotch, but my budget can't quite handle that price. Wish Richard was still selling his 45 cal jackets. If this is the best price, I guess I'll just stick with cast for the 45 (but my rifle doesn't really like cast bullets).
There is a guy on gunbroker with ok prices. Otherwise using 40 cal brass is about as cheap as it gets
